Equine Staff and the Balance Log

With the balance log teams are challenged to see who can get everyone on the log and then lift the heavier side of the log off the ground.
Equine was our first team to get everyone on, balanced and the end of the log off the ground.

Hiking and Old Grafton Town

Spent the day at Grafton, an old town just outside of ZIon National Park. The girls took sack lunches, hung out and hiked in the red sand. Learned some of the history about the town and why it was there.

Dogtown Half Marathon Service Project

Big THANKS to Washington City for allowing us to help!!

Our girls are great when it comes to helping out the community. They work hard, have fun and get to serve others.
This event was followed up by an afternoon of fun at Staheli Farm with games, treats, and adventure.

Playing in the Snow!!

The girls woke up this morning to snow and chilly weather. It has been in the high 70' for almost a week and seemed to be  getting warmer. It was a wonderful suprise to wake up to all the white. For some of our girls this is the first time they have seen snow.
They had so much fun playing.

Even the staff and the teachers got in on the snowball fight.

From one Block to the Next

In this group building activity the students are given 1 10x10 piece of wood that they have to get the group from one end of the field to the other. If they are not paying attention their piece of wood is taken and they have to manage without it. The girls either like this activity because they accomplish the task or get frustrated because they can't work together, either way there is a lesson to be learrn.
