Happy Mothers Day

Mother and daughter relationships are complex because the daughter looks to her mother as a role model of what a woman is. 

As she grows up and sees other woman who live their lives differently, she chooses between imitating her mother or other significant influences in her life. 

As an adolescent she may come to look down on her mother and think that other woman are much better. 

Of course she is not a fully grown woman so she does not understand the challenges and choices that her mother faces. 

It is only when she herself becomes a woman that she can fully appreciate her mother.

Zion Canyon Earth Day

The Town of Springdale, in cooperation with Zion National Park celebrated the 43rd Anniversary of Earth Day on Saturday April 20, 2013. This annual event draws 1000 or more visitors to help celebrate our beautiful home. Our girls here at Falcon did an amazing job volunteering with the kids doing activities and helping with set up and take down. They worked extremely hard and the city of Springdale expressed how valuable the girls were to the project.

Struggle

Where there is no struggle, there is no strength.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress.

Clouds

 Clouds are very clever things 

They aren't held up with hooks or strings 

They have no wings to help them fly 

They simply hang there in the sky
